Applicants must meet the following State Mandated Requirments to be Registered and Insured as a Security Officer in the state of North Carolina.

• You MUST be 18 years of age for Unarmed Officers, and 21 years of age for Armed Officers.
• You MUST NOT have a Criminal Record. Any history of violence, dishonesty, or drug abuse in the last five years will prevent you from being registered as a Security Officer in the state.

Most Security Guard & Patrol Companies will also require:

• You to have Reliable Transportation. Some shifts may be late at night when public transportation is not available.
• You to have a Personal Cell Phone to check-in/out when you arrive on or depart from your assigned job site.
